1. Service Related Questions
Q1: What makes your practice different from other integrative or holistic practitioners?
Answer: With 25 years of clinical practice, I bring a depth of experience that goes beyond standard integrative care.
What sets me apart in particular is the intuitive ability to observe across all physical systems — immune, nervous, digestive, hormonal, and respiratory — and to perceive the connections between physical, emotional, and energetic dimensions. This allows me to find the deeper root cause of your condition across all layers. This is a rare skill that is missing from modern Western medicine.
This ability allows me to heal beyond symptom relief. Healing is limitless. I am here to guide you toward true and lasting transformation.
Question 2: What conditions do you specialize in?
Answer: I specialize in internal chronic conditions that conventional medicine has not fully resolved. These include autoimmune disease, chronic inflammation, digestive disorders, hormonal imbalance, chronic fatigue, anxiety, skin conditions, respiratory conditions, sleep disorders, and gynecological conditions. I also work with emotional and spiritual conditions — including trauma, life transitions, and spiritual growth. For children, I offer pediatric acupuncture for a range of conditions.
Question 3: Do you work with patients who are currently seeing a medical doctor, and is your approach compatible with conventional medicine?
Answer: Yes. I work alongside conventional medicine. As a former pharmacist in Japan, I fully understand the strengths and limitations of Western medicine.
I encourage all my patients to consult with their medical doctors and to keep them informed of their holistic treatments.
Acupuncture, herbal medicine, and energy healing do not interfere with most medical treatments. In many cases, my treatments complement and enhance conventional care — reducing side effects, supporting recovery, and strengthening the body's innate healing functions.
I always ask about current medications and treatments to ensure safe and effective integration. I encourage you to share your medical reports and test results with me, as they help me plan your treatment more effectively. I also refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
Question 4: How do I know if your practice is right for me?
Answer: You may be a good fit if you:
Are interested in natural, holistic, and integrative approaches
Have tried conventional medicine without lasting results
Are navigating chronic, complex, or multi-layered conditions
Are ready to address the root cause of your condition
Are committed to a deeper healing journey
Are seeking long-term healing, support, and guidance
Are interested in spiritual growth alongside physical healing
If you have any specific questions, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation. This is the best way to determine if we are a good fit for each other.
Question 5: You offer two types of consultations? How different?
Answer: Yes. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation and a comprehensive holistic consultation.
A free 15-minute phone consultation is a complimentary service to connect briefly to discuss your condition and see if my practice is the right fit for you. Book online.
A holistic consultation is a paid one-hour session where I assess your conditions holistically. You are welcome to bring your medical reports and test results. The consultation also covers emotional, energetic, and spiritual dimensions. It is the ideal starting point for new patients. Please note that the holistic consultation does not include a treatment. Book online.
During the holistic consultation I will:
Review your health history, current conditions, and previous treatments.
Assess your physical, emotional, and energetic patterns.
Identify the root cause of your conditions.
Recommend a personalized treatment plan across the appropriate healing modalities.
2. Natural Medicine Related Questions
Question 1: What style of acupuncture do you practice and how is Japanese style different from Chinese style?
Answer: I practice Advanced Japanese Acupuncture, drawing from Ken Kobayashi-style protocols dating back to the 1600s, and internationally recognized Kiiko Matsumoto-style acupuncture. While the former works well for restoring the foundation — homeostasis, organ functions, and immune and nervous systems — the latter is superior in identifying and healing specific root causes.
Compared to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the standard acupuncture in the United States, Japanese acupuncture is highly personalized and more comprehensive. TCM follows standardized protocols, while Japanese acupuncture adapts to each patient's extensive assessment.
Each session is two hours long. This ensures an in-depth healing experience while requiring less frequent visits.
Question 2: What conditions do you treat with acupuncture?
Answer: I specialize in internal chronic conditions.
While many think of acupuncture primarily for pain management, it is scientifically proven for much more. Its anti-inflammatory effects are equally significant. Acupuncture calms and balances the nervous system, immune system, and hormonal balance, promoting homeostasis of your innate healing functions.
Many Chinese herbs are also anti-inflammatory and nutritional. They alleviate symptoms and work synergistically to enhance acupuncture treatment.
Conditions I commonly treat include autoimmune disease, chronic inflammation, digestive disorders, hormonal imbalance, chronic fatigue, anxiety, skin conditions, respiratory conditions, sleep disorders, and gynecological conditions. I also offer pediatric acupuncture for children under 12.
Question 3: How many acupuncture sessions do I need?
Answer: The number of sessions depends on your condition, its severity, recurrence, and history. Most importantly, it depends on the goal of your treatment.
My treatments are typically scheduled every two to four weeks — compared to TCM weekly or bi-weekly.
My practice provides long-term care for chronic conditions and preventive medicine. My patients continue to receive monthly treatment as part of preventive care after their condition has improved.
Question 4: What can I expect during an acupuncture session?
Answer: Each session is approximately two hours, allowing for a deeper and rejuvenating experience.
At the initial session, I will conduct a thorough review of your health history, current conditions, and previous treatments. You are welcome to bring your medical reports and test results.
Each treatment follows two steps:
Step 1: A foundational treatment that restores homeostasis — vital organs such as kidneys, liver, digestive organs, heart, and lungs — and balances the nervous system, bringing the body into deep rest and activating its natural healing response.
Step 2: A treatment that addresses the root cause of your specific conditions.
Each session also includes guidance on diet, supplements, and lifestyle to support your healing between visits.
Please note the following:
Avoid coming hungry or with a full stomach.
Avoid alcohol on the day of treatment.
Drink plenty of water after treatment.
Avoid strenuous activity immediately following your appointment.
After the initial session, you may feel tired. If so, please rest and go to bed early.
Question 5 — What is herbal medicine and how does it work with acupuncture?
Answer: I prescribe Chinese herbal medicine that works powerfully alongside Japanese acupuncture. While acupuncture transmits signals from the outer layers to the brain and organs to activate physiological changes, Chinese herbs are ingested to heal from the inside out.
I combine 15–25 herbs to create a personalized formula to meet your condition. The herbs I carry are organic or wild-harvested. You are instructed to prepare the formula according to the traditional decoction method — brewing it in water for 45 minutes. This method ensures the most absorbable and potent form, but I also prescribe Chinese herbs in capsule form for easy use.
Herbs are available to ship to any destination.
Q6: What other therapies do you offer in addition to acupuncture and herbal medicine?
Answer: I offer the following adjunctive therapies that complement acupuncture and herbal medicine:
Functional Detoxification Therapy — A personalized herbal protocol that eliminates accumulated toxins from organs relating to detoxification, such as the intestines, liver, kidneys, and lymphatic system, and revives their innate functions. It addresses the root cause of chronic conditions from the inside out.
Frequency Medicine — The use of specific healing frequencies to support cellular repair, elimination of harmful organisms such as parasites, bacteria, viruses, and mold, and other specific healing purposes.
Dietary Energetics Therapy — Personalized dietary guidance based on Eastern nutritional principles. Food is used as medicine to support your healing by selecting food suitable for your energetic pattern.
Far-Infrared Heat Therapy (Hyperthermia) — Deep heat therapy that promotes circulation, detoxification, and immune function with far-infrared frequencies.
3. Soul Medicine related Questions
Q1: What conditions do you treat?
Answer: Energy Soul Therapy addresses emotional, energetic, and spiritual conditions.
Emotional and energetic conditions include: Anxiety, depression, and repeated negative emotional patterns. Childhood or ancestral traumas and abandonment issues. Loss of a loved one. Low self-esteem, lack of confidence, and self-sabotage. Highly sensitive or easily affected by others (empaths).
Spiritual conditions include: Feeling stuck or unaligned with Higher Self. Weak intuition or lack of connection with the Divine. Searching for life purpose or spiritual guidance.
Energy Soul Therapy facilitates physical healing by activating innate healing ability energetically. It is particularly effective when the root cause lies in emotional or energetic imbalance.
Q2: What modalities do you offer?
Answer: Reiki and Etheric Healing (Aura Healing) are the core modalities of Energy Soul Therapy that I use. Reiki is used to balance Chakras, restore energetic fields, activate the body's innate healing response, and support deep emotional and spiritual healing.
Etheric Healing is effective for clearing energetic blockages or accumulation that sabotage your healing and growth. The blockage is often energetic debris from past experiences in the form of emotions and belief systems.
I also offer Regression Therapy and Inner-Child Healing to heal the soul's trauma from specific past events. Your attachment to such events is gently healed through guided energetic and soul-level treatment with love and compassion.
My other advanced modalities are used for spiritual activation and clearing. They include Karmic Bands Clearing, Trans-Temporal Trauma Healing, 24 Strand DNA Activation, Elemental Balancing, and 16 Petals Activation, as well as esoteric spiritual healing and activation.
Q3: What spiritual ability do you have?
Answer: Master Mika Ichihara is a gifted intuitive healer with the ability to perceive and work directly with the energetic and spiritual dimensions of a person.
She is able to sense energetic blockages, emotional imprints, and soul-level patterns that are not visible to the physical eye. This allows her to identify the root cause of conditions with precision and address them directly.
Her abilities include clairsentience, clairvoyance, claircognizance, clairaudience, and direct communication with earthly and spiritual realms. These gifts are fully integrated with her 30 years of spiritual training — grounding her intuitive perception in a disciplined, professional healing practice across her integrative therapies.
Q4: What is included in each session?
Answer: The initial session begins with a spiritual and energetic assessment of your issues, including your emotions. This allows me to understand where you are and what is present for you — not just your symptoms, but what may be contributing to them at a deeper level.
At the initial session, I will create a healing plan with you. We will discuss the steps to heal your issue and the process involved.
The follow-up session begins with new developments and current status since the last session.
After the assessment, I proceed to treatment tailored to your specific healing needs.
Each session closes with sharing the findings, messages, guidance, reflections, and recommendations to support your healing between visits.
Standard Session — 80 minutes. Extended / Advanced Session — 110 minutes.
Q5: How many sessions do I need?
Answer: The number of sessions depends on your condition, its depth, and your healing goals.
For Energy Soul Therapy, I recommend 3 to 5 sessions for each healing project. Most patients experience meaningful progress within this period. Deeper or longer-held patterns may benefit from continued work over a longer period.
Once a project is complete, we discuss whether to continue with a next project based on your needs and readiness.
Spiritual Coaching is continued spiritual support for day-to-day life, especially when going through a tough time. I recommend scheduling every 2 to 4 weeks.
I offer a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your specific situation and give you a clearer sense of what to expect.
Q6: Can Energy Soul Therapy be combined with other services?
Answer: Yes. Many of my patients combine acupuncture and Energy Soul Therapy as they complement each other for deeper healing.
It is especially effective for patients with multi-layered chronic conditions that have both physical and emotional or energetic roots. Treating both dimensions simultaneously often produces faster and more lasting results.
Energy Soul Therapy also complements Chinese Astrology and esoteric readings to receive spiritual guidance, and House Energy Clearing and Classical Feng Shui to create a sacred and energetically balanced home. Together, these create a comprehensive approach to healing across the physical, emotional, energetic, and environmental dimensions of your life.

Q1: When is the right time to take your seminars and courses?
Answers: My seminars and courses are open to anyone interested in healing, spiritual growth, and self-development. You do not need to be a patient to join.
The right time to start is when you feel called to go deeper into energetic and spiritual understanding and practice. Many of my patients naturally transition into seminars and courses as their healing progresses.
My seminars and courses are an extension of my healing services, deeply rooted in my healing philosophy. If you resonate with my approach, you will definitely enjoy my teaching.
Q2: What are the three Paths and how do I choose?
Answers: My seminars and courses are organized into three Paths, each reflecting a different orientation toward healing and spiritual growth.
Purple Path — Reiki Training and Advanced Energy Healing. This path is for those drawn to hands-on healing, energy work, and developing healing abilities with compassion.
Green Path — Meditation, Channeling, and Energetics of Food. This path is for those seeking deeper awareness, spiritual connection with nature, and attunement to the spiritual realm.
Orange Path — Universal Qabalah and Integrated Spirituality. This path is for those ready for deep sacred knowledge and spiritual mastery.
You do not need to choose just one path. Many students naturally explore more than one simultaneously. The best is to learn all three Paths to complement each other. If you are unsure where to begin, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation — I am happy to guide you.
Q3: What is the difference between Seminars and Courses? Do I need prior experience to join?
Answers: Seminars are intensive focused training completed in 1 to 2 days. They are held in small groups in person or online. They transmit knowledge, practices, and practical tools for daily life. I ensure ample time for discussion during each Seminar. Current seminars include Meditation, Energetics of Food, Reiki Training, and Advanced Integrated Spirituality Seminar (Qabalah students only).
Courses are structured multi-session series for deeper sustained study. Students meet monthly or bi-monthly for 1 to 2 years per level. Knowledge and awareness build progressively over time. The current Course offering is Universal Qabalah. They are suited for those who are ready to commit to long-term transformation guided by a master teacher.
All are welcome to Seminars and Courses. No prior experience is required for both. Curiosity, interest, and openness are always the start.

Q4: How are your seminars and courses delivered — in person or online? If online, are sessions recorded and can I access them later?
Answers: I offer three formats.
Live in-person seminars and courses are held in Charlotte NC or New York City.
Live online seminars and courses are held via Zoom. Recordings are available for enrolled students for 12 months after the event.
Pre-recorded seminars are available for purchase on my website. They are accessible for 12 months after purchase.
Q5: I have my own religion. Is it ok to receive your teaching?
Answers: Yes. My teaching is not based on any religion.
I teach spiritual knowledge and principles in my Seminars and Courses including Reiki, meditation, and Universal Qabalah. They are considered sacred wisdom and universal in nature.
I build balance drawn from Eastern and Western traditions to further deepen sacred knowledge and wisdom. My teaching deepens students' spiritual experience and understanding without conflicting with their existing beliefs. All walks of life are welcome to attend.
