Soul healing takes place at the much deeper level than the physical, energetic and emotional level.  It is accessed through the subconscious level where all old memories are stored.  Many issues that manifest at present are often triggered by the old issues and traumas that you have not resolved yet at the deep soul level.  

Healing the old issues/trauma subconsciously is an extremely effective method for resolving an ongoing issue that you are experiencing right now.  To do so, healing is performed through regression and/or inner child healing.  An inner child is a soul of your young age.  Whichever age s/he is, the inner child in you suffered and is still suffering, crying for help.  When the inner child is healed, you as of now are also healed.
