What is Spiritual Journey? (November 19, 2007)
A number of students of mine asked me what Spiritual Journey is. More and more people are interested in spirituality, but who are really considered as being on the Spiritual Journey?
In my definition, Spiritual Journey is nothing but the empowerment of the Self with ACTION. In other words, studying spirituality simply as intellectual knowledge does not necessarily mean that you are on the spiritual journey. This definition sounds a bit strict, but all my patients and students who embarked on the spiritual journey would agree, because once you start applying Spiritual Wisdom into your life, everything including your vision, feelings, energy, action and practice will be completely transformed. There is a clear line dividing before and after starting the Spiritual Journey.
Spiritual Journey is not just accumulating knowledge, but the application of Spiritual Wisdom that you learned through training and your own experience.
In my earlier message, I explained what the Truth is and how to obtain it. Please read “Truth - Two Paths and Two Levels” (June 5, 2007). Spiritual Journey is to apply Universal and Personal Truth into your daily life.
On the Spiritual Journey, Universal Truth will teach you how to raise your consciousness, view the Humanity with compassion and act for the benefit of the Mother Earth.
At the personal level, Personal Truth will guide you how to overcome your weakness, transforming into strength. You will gain strength to fight the Darkness, seeking and following the Light. You will not be afraid of receiving blessings and love, not afraid of giving love and compassion to your Self as well as others.
Being on the Spiritual Journey, you trust that the Universe will constantly guide you, so as to transform obstacles into the bliss. Even if you fall and take 2 steps back now, you will soon get up and take 3 steps forward.
All is action, action and action. There is no limit for our learning. Move forward and higher. This is the Spiritual Journey.
